18 Messages in the Media How can we INTERPRET them?

19 FOX vs. CNN Both covering the SAME thing:
Possible Collusion between President Trump and Russia

20 CNN

21 FOX

22 Both of these are TRUSTED, MAINSTREAM News Stations
Why is the coverage so different?!

23 CNN Donars 87% Democrat 10% Republican
If they say bad things about the Democrats, then bye bye money!

24 FOX The OPPOSITE to CNN Mostly Republican donars
ALSO, there is a market for their bias! Before FOX came around, the majority of news stations were biased towards the DEMOCRATS REPUBLICANS had no where to turn for news! FOX saw this opportunity, and swooped in to become the news station for Republicans

25 Overall FOX and CNN are the 2 biggest news companies in the USA
They are able to exist, because they have the COMPLETE opposite bias of each other! Fighting = Rating, and Ratings = Money!

26 What other Life Experiences could result in a bias?

27 How do we ensure that WE get UNBIASED Information?
