Hmm..... What a depressing thought all of this can be, antibiotic resistant bacteria can and will continue to be a growing issue. We have regulations to deal with and they seem to keep changing. And let’s not even talk about milk prices. So what do we do?

What is it? How does it work? Have a plan Get to know your enemy (including the one with the stethoscope) Share your plan Tracking, tracking, tracking Use your plan Live it, be it, modify it How many have heard of antibiotic stewardship? Can you define it? Antimicrobial stewardship is a coordinated program that promotes the appropriate use of antimicrobials (including antibiotics), improves patient outcomes, reduces microbial resistance, and decreases the spread of infections caused by multidrug-resistant organisms. What does it really mean- how you are going to use antimicrobials on your farm. So how does it work.
