I will learn to write an informative piece, which examines ideas about me and conveys the ideas to my teacher in a letter format.

I will learn by teacher modeling and the use of a graphic organizer.

I will complete a student survey, and then use it to write a letter about myself to my teacher.
Good Readers...have a purpose for reading…think about what they already know……make sure they understand what they read…look at pictures...predict…form pictures in their minds…draw conclusions…figure out new words…PRACTICE!
