Figure 2 The post-test probability of OA versus NOA is shown through the range of FSH observations. The pretest probability (i.e., prevalence) is given. The post-test probability of disease would change if the prevalence were different. A higher prevalence of NOA would raise the curve for positive test results and lower the curve for negative test results and vice versa.
