Outcomes & Considerations
Across all grade levels, alcohol, tobacco, and marijuana past 30-day use is trending down. In some areas we are higher than the national average. Sample sizes have varied: In 2018: 219 6th graders, 240 8th graders, th graders, and th graders were surveyed (906 youth total) The total youth surveyed in other years: students students The opioid 30 day use is an average of heroin, amphetamines, sedatives, and tranquilizers as the PNA separates all of these into specific questions. More data will need to be collected in the next few years to assess trends with electronic cigarettes.

Great gains are made from 6th to 10th grade in perceived risk Student exposure by Grade 12 may affect perceived risk Greatest concern is that only 51.5% of 12th graders see a risk in marijuana use of 1 to 2 times a week
