18. “I Will Call Upon Him As Long As I Live”
His love for prayer was based upon the fact that God answered him before. Psalm 116:1-2
It was based upon the fact that God had blessed him. Psalm 116:12-13
It was based upon the fact that prayer brought him closer to God. Psalm 145:18

He made it a point to often slip away to pray privately.

Have we found it to be a source of peace “which surpasses all understanding”? Phil 4:6-7
Do we “pray without ceasing”? 1 Thes 5:17
If not, then let David instruct us to depend upon prayer. Psalm 32:6-7

As He did on one occasion publicly in prayer.

As He did with his disciples in song.

By marking those who needlessly cause division?
“Now I urge you, brethren, note those who cause divisions and offenses, contrary to the doctrine which you learned, and avoid them.” Romans 16:17
