2. Advantages It’s a clean and renewable source of energy No fuel costs
Continues to get cheaper
Can be used virtually anywhere on planet
Due to ease of use and renewability, cna account for large amount of energy used if implemented

3. Disadvantages
Wind generators produce low-frequency sound, which can affect some nearby residents’ sleeping habits
Because of the high-speed movement of blades of windmills, metal fatigue and wear can occur, which requires maintenance
Only about 30% of the power carried by wind can be converted to electricity
No wind, no electricity.

4. Type of Primary Source
Wind created due to sun’s uneven heating of atmosphere, spinning of Earth
Renewable as long as sun continues to heat Earth and Earth continues to spin

5. Method of Processing Power
Wind force rotates propeller on the windmill, spinning a rotor which provides electrical power to a generator
Electricity sent to other places via transmission lines
May be combined with other energy sources
