Classroom News for the week of April 15-19, 2019

Notes:
We have a short, but busy week upon us! The kids had an amazing time last week! With a full crime scene investigation and their roles in our mock trial to keep them busy, there was tons of fun and learning going on in room 127! Thank you all for supporting my (sometimes crazy) ideas and helping to get your kiddos involved! ☺
Here’s a look at what we’ll be doing this week:
Word Study: We will be working on words with the –re prefix. For example, redo, replay, etc.
Reading: We are continuing our study of point of view and this week we will be swapping classrooms each day to hear each character’s different perspective.
Math: We will be continuing our study of money, including making change from a dollar and money word problems. Our assessment will be Thursday.
Thank you to Ella’s grandma for volunteering to come read to our class on April 26th! The students are so excited to have another reader coming soon!
Beef Stick fundraiser money is due by Friday the 18th! Sell, sell, sell!
