BRANTFORD CAMPUS A SUMMARY OF MOOD WALKS
Previous experience with Mood Walks. Students, staff, and community members join weekly Mood Walks on Mondays. Provide students with bright shirts, protein bars, fruit, snack, and Mood Walks water bottles. Utilized the downtown area and Grand River trails. Became Certified Hikers - great uptake! Noticed a difference physically to walk and take a creak, added to our self-care which is what everyone needs. Created a sense of social connectedness. Giving ourselves space to interact: socially and emotionally and even to our surroundings! BRANTFORD CAMPUS A SUMMARY OF MOOD WALKS

WATERLOO CAMPUS A SUMMARY OF MOOD WALKS
Biggest concern was being an "urban campus" and students didn't know how to access nature in our area. A SUMMARY OF MOOD WALKS Walked in the urban area and to Waterloo Park where we visited nature, including trees, trails, scooters, llamas, goats, ducks, chickens and peacocks! Was pleasantly surprised with a regular weekly walking group and had several returning students come back each week. Students enjoyed connecting with each other in a simple, accessible way to get exercise and connect socially. New friendships were made and students were able to meet staff from across campus as well. Even started walking with therapy dogs for a shorter Mood Walk!
