Senior English 2/19/19 In chapter 10 the creation implores Frankenstein to hear his story. How do you feel about the Monster? What is the world’s smartest animal? Mundungus – Very old word for smelling like garbage or dung. Often used to refer to bad smelling tobacco. Goals – Answer Questions about the book. Discussion of chapter questions? Homework – Read and annotate chapter 15. Do a journal. Begin study of Week 19 vocabulary words. A snake. Nobody can pull his leg.

Pox and piles – curse from the middle ages. Goals – Discuss what the monster learned from the books he read. Homework – Read and annotate chapter 16. Do a journal. He had a bright idea.

Riggafrutch – means nothing but sounds nasty. Goals – Continue conversation on the monster’s education and how it forms him. Homework – Read and annotate chapter 17 and 18. Do a journal. . What do you call Santa’s Helpers? Amplexus – The rutting of frogs and toads. Should be used instead of a profanity. Goals – Complete vocabulary 19. Homework – Read and annotate chapter 19,20,21. Do a journal for each. Subordinate clauses.
