2. Sisimiut, is a town of Greenland located to the southwest of the island, within the municipality of Qeqqata, previously part of the county of Greenland Kitaa (Western Greenland). It is located 75 km north of the Arctic Circle in the Davis Strait and is the northernmost ice-free port during the year in Greenland.
