Located in the center of the Middle East the Arabian Peninsula form a semi circle around the Persian Gulf.

The truth about deserts
Not all deserts are made of sand. Some deserts are covered with rocks and gravel.

Central Asia The eastern most part of the Middle East. Is Mostly land locked. Turn and talk: Looking at the map what do you think the term “Land Locked” means?

Work Time: Using the maps and source documents complete the venn diagram comparing and contrasting the two different regions of the Middle East.
