The purpose of this guide is to support the learner in developing meaningful talk tracks and to prepare for a physical customer demonstration. This guide will also provide access to supporting material to help you gather confidence in the E1000 series scanners and will provide an understanding of how a feature works along with the benefit to the customer. The checklists and guidelines provided will help ensure you and the solution are ready to make a great impression.

Open the Scan Validation Tool and click Driver then Setup
Once the driver opens click Settings at the bottom left.
The next window you will need to click Device again on the bottom left. This is the screen to make device changes.
On the General tab choose the Paper Source pull down menu and select Automatic
Click the Action when timeout occurs pulldown menu and choose Pause Scanning- wait for paper
Click OK and save till you are back at the Scan Validation Tool

Action When Paper Jam Occurs: Stop Scanning

Open up task Manager by holding all three keys at the same time. Cntrl, Alt, & Delete
Within task manager navigate to performance.
