2. How might your digital footprint affect your future opportunities?
Say if you wrote something bad on instagram, facebook or any other social media and you would like to apply for a job somewhere. That job might just look for you on a social media and discover that you have done something wrong and they might not think that you are capable for that job.
But social media can also be a good thing in a way. You have the choice to post anything so if you post good things now, you be able to get that job you wanted. Say if you posted something of you helping some people, that will be a hundred times better than you posting something bad.

3. Three strategies that you can use to keep your digital footprint appropriate and safe
A way to keep your digital footprint safe is to only have people you know and trust looking at the things you post so that they wont do anything bad with your post. If you have hundreds of people looking at what you post you won’t be able to know what they will do.
Another helpful thing to do would be to keep things private. You don’t have to tell everyone what’s going in life and certainly not on the internet where it can be copy and pasted. If you want to tell people what’s going on then tell them in person where it cannot be copy and pasted.
And the last tip that I like is to not post anything very personal or something people can hold you accountable for. Posting something personal would be like posting your home address. Something people can hold you accountable for is like posting something you’re not aloud to do but you’re doing it anyway.

4. What information did you learn that you would pass on to other students? How would you go about telling them?
I would just like to say that you can still communicate with your friends, family, etc. You don’t have to post what you’re doing, or where you’re going. You can pick up a phone and call them. That doesn’t mean you have to get off social media all together. It’s a great way of tuning in to current events or keeping in touch with people you don’t see much, but as long as you make more of an effort to keep it safe, everything will go as planned.
