Description: The Office of Special Education Programs in the U. S. Department of Education provides a variety of grant and funding opportunities throughout the year. Activities funded include research, professional development, technical assistance, technology, and parent training. Eligible applicants vary by competition. This session will provide a user-friendly overview of how to identify and apply for funding, and will offer guidelines and hints for successfully competing for federal grants. The session will also cover how to use the Federal Register to identify priorities and obtain program announcements.
