5.2 – Clothing
Big Ideas:
We wear clothing to cover and protect our body.
People wear certain types of clothing at different times such as seasons, jobs, places they are going, and activities in which they are participating.
Clothing items have names.
Children ages 3-5 can begin to take some responsibility for keeping themselves healthy and for eating foods that are nutritious. It is important for children to be involved in activities that focus on health and nutrition. The 5 Big Ideas are ways to help children explore this concept.
