Full-length MDM2 p90 is translated from the first start codon ATG in exon 3 and the short form, p76, is translated from the second ATG in exon 4. Two major alternative splice variants in the human genes MDM2-A and MDM2-B are shown. Full-length Mdm2 and known motifs are also represented.
