And he said to the woman, "Has God indeed said, 'You shall not eat of every tree of the garden’?” And the woman said to the serpent, "We may eat the fruit of the trees of the garden; 3 but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God has said, 'You shall not eat it, nor shall you touch it, lest you die.'" 4 Then the serpent said to the woman, "You will not surely die. to the Family

Genesis 3:1-10 5 For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil." So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate. She also gave to her husband with her, and he ate. 7 Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves coverings. to the Family

This message is bad news, good news. First the bad news is – we have been rejected… The worse news is – We have to be perfect to belong to God… A perfect God can only accept perfection… Lev 22: And whoever offers a sacrifice of a peace offering to the Lord , to fulfill his vow, or a freewill offering from the cattle or the sheep, it must be perfect to be accepted; there shall be no defect in it. NKJV to the Family

Ephesians 1:5-6 5 God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. This is what he wanted to do, and it gave him great pleasure. 6 So we praise God for the glorious grace he has poured out on us who belong to his dear Son. Holy Bible, New Living Translation
