7. High School Credit FOR Alg I Honors
will earn high school credit.
will be on their high school transcript.
will Count towards high school grade point average.

8. What does the grading look like in Algebra I Honors?
will take final examinations at the end of each semester same as those given at the high school.
80% of the grade is a combination of Unit tests, quizzes, practice and homework and 20% of the student grade is the semester final.
Students will receive a first and second semester grade. Not Quarter Grades. Will look different in HAC.

9. Can my child drop Algebra I Honors?
8th grade students enrolled in Algebra I Honors may drop the class any time during the first Semester.
If a student drops the class, they will transfer into regular 8th grade math.
If a student drops Algebra I honors they will take either Algebra I or Algebra I honors during freshman year.
