3. Be filled with the peace of God (v15)
Peace – absence of war, non-violence, mental calm and serenity.
Peace in this context – Greek – Eirene (i-ray-nay) – to join, set as one again.

6. Be filled with the word of Christ (v16) –
It is the foundation for proper teaching and admonishing.
2 Tim 2:7 Reflect on what I am saying, for the Lord will give you insight into all this.
b) It is the basis for our rejoicing in song.

8. Conclusion.
Having been saved, we can and it is our responsibility to let the peace of God and the word of Christ fill us so that we can live a life in Christ.
