2 Scenario The day after Independence Day, Smithville Mall is packed with shoppers. Just after noon, a suicide bomber detonates herself in the middle of the crowded food court. Shrapnel from the explosion injures many, but amid the dust and smoke, a bleach-smelling gas fills the area. As responders arrive on the scene, people further away from the explosion complain of dizziness and burning in their eyes, nose, and throat. Some experience nausea and vomiting. Eyes are dilated, tearing, and swelling. At the epicenter of the explosion, four are dead and a two go into respiratory arrest. Skin that had close contact with the substance seems to be burned or red.
