Sacraments Sunday Mass: at Aliamanu Military Reservation Chapel (AMR) 1100 at Main Post Chapel, Schofield Barracks (MPC) Child care is available during Sunday Mass and Religious Education. Reconciliation: Reconciliation is available at AMR Sundays before Mass by Father Larry. There will be Reconciliation on 2nd and 4th Sundays after Mass by the presiding priest at MPC in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel. Please contact Father Joe or Tracey Harger via if you wish for an appointment. Marriage: Please contact Father Joe at least six months prior to anticipated date of wedding. Mandatory Pre-Cana classes are required. Baptism: Bi-monthly celebrations. Preparation class required. Please RSVP for class. Baptisms are not celebrated during Lent. Next MPC Baptism Class: March at 1830 Next AMR Baptism: May during Mass Next MPC Baptism: April at the Easter Vigil Before Christ ascended to His Father after the Resurrection, He gave His disciples one last command: to make disciples of all the nations. Discipleship doesn’t mean following the rules and going through the motions and, it means encountering Jesus and experiencing his closeness, his friendship, his love. Discipleship begins when we hear the kerygma, renew our baptism, consciously entrust ourselves to Christ, and actively participate in the life of the Church. Come to our Discipleship Bootcamp and let renowned speaker and blogger Meg Hunter-Kilmer jump start and/or rejuvenate your faith. Saturday April 6, MPC, room D9, from 9.00 am to 4 pm. The event is free, lunch and childcare are provided. Sign up on Facebook or Ute at Pray the Stations of the Cross every Friday during Lent at 1730 at each chapel community followed by soup and bread dinner. Our Catholic Community Penance Services are at 1800 on 25 March at MPC, 1800 on 26 March at Pearl Harbor Chapel and 1800 on 27 March at AMR. 18 April will be the Holy Thursday Mass of the Lord’s Supper followed by Transfer of the Blessed Sacrament at 1730 at both AMR and MPC. 19 April the Good Friday Stations of the Cross will be prayed at 1500 at both AMR and MPC. There will be soup and bread dinner afterwards. 19 April will be the Good Friday Passion of Our Lord at 1730 at both AMR & MPC. 20 April will be the Community Easter Vigil at 2000 at MPC only. 21 APR is Easter Sunday. Regular Mass times are 0830 at AMR and 1100 at MPC. Aloha! The chapel is closed for spring break this week, so both AMR and MPC CWOC AMR will resume on 27/28 March. AMR Men’s Bible Study will meet on 6 April at 0730 in the activity room. All men are welcome to join for breakfast and faith formation! Pacific Club is taking a spring break this week! AMR 123 /$ MPC /$ Community Announcements Religious Education Religious Education for this school year will run through 19 May 2019. Classes are held weekly from with various holidays and long weekends off. Any adult interested in learning more about the faith is welcome to join the Parent Faith Formation class once a month on Sunday at 0945. The dates are: 3/31 for AMR, 4/7 for MPC and 05/05. Our program is "The Mass" by Word on Fire/Bishop Barron. For questions about the Religious Education program, please contact Ute Eble. Her is on the back of the bulletin. We are planning our RE program for next year. Please let us know now if you are able to be a catechist for next year. We are making decisions based on numbers for next year, so it is really important that we have a commitment. Family Night will be held on Tuesdays at 1730 AMR. AMR Catholic Programs nights are 9 April and 14 May. Family Night will be held on Wednesdays at 1800 at MPC. Family Night programs will include dinner followed by religious education curriculum and methods that will allow your family to explore and practice your faith together in as a family. Confirmation will be held on 10 May 2019 at MPC. First Communion is at both chapels on 19 May 2019. VBS is June 2019 from at AMR, MPC, HMR and WAAF.
