Power Rating: Up to 3500 kVA GDpack Definition GDpack is a type tested MV/LV prefabricated substation comprising of an enclosure containing Medium Voltage switchgear, Distribution transformers, Low Voltage switchboards, connections and auxiliary equipment to transform energy from medium to low voltage systems. Layout Features Type tested per latest GB Internal Arc fault Type AB tested at 20 kA, 1second High level of safety for equipment and personnel All equipment inside GDpack are type tested Engineered footprint meeting required clearance standards Optional oil collection pit underneath the transformer Steel housing Can be delivered with transformer installed Engineered for smooth air flow and natural cooling Locking system for all doors to prevent un-authorized entry of personnel Stainless steel hinges for corrosion resistance No access to live parts Equipment Description Transformer GDpack is designed and manufactured to accept oil or dry transformers. Medium Voltage GDpack can be provided with different options of Medium Voltage kV Switchgear from our SF6 insulated compact secondary switchgear portfolio. Low Voltage The LV compartment could accommodate an LV panel with ACB or MCCB’s and various number and ratings of outgoing feeders depending on transformer size and customer needs. Special low voltage equipment is available upon request.

Power Rating: Up to 3500 kVA GDpack Additional equipment Devices for metering and control circuit SCADA ready for easy connection to any SCADA System through standard communication protocols. Power Factor Correction Panel Remote Terminal Unit (RTU) to monitor the CSS and store data for operation, maintenance and fault analysis. Local and remote monitoring operations available. No complicated civil engineering job is needed in advance or during the installation. Only a pit has to be excavated and the substation has to be placed into this installation pit. When the substation is in its place, than the commissioning can be started after the incoming and outgoing cables had been connected. For detailed information please see our installation manual.
