Growing reliance on subtier suppliers Greater than 60% of end item product is purchased Not just tier 1 but the entire supply chain (2, 3, 4) Observations Boeing NOE issues - Focus on prevention Boeing Expectations What Boeing expects of our suppliers Request for support Get tough - No soft grading Allow sufficient time to audit purchasing processes We are in it together "Working Together"
