Unit Staff identifies any Risk for Patient Harm on their Unit (e.g. Unsafe conditions, missing equipment, anything that might lead to preventable patient harm) and develops a plan for improvement.
The Unit Team works to improve and reinforce good communication, teamwork, and safety leadership in their unit.

The funding for the education and training of our CUSP Units has been generously provided by a community member who is passionate about our patients’ safety. Our CUSP Units are proud to carry that passion forward in their daily efforts to promote and ensure safe patient care.
