CCBHC Planning Phase Demonstration Phase
Final Sites to Pursue Certification 7 Centers identified 1 private entity October 2016 Application due to SAMHSA Certification complete or State able to attest to certification PPS2 rates determined Demonstration Phase SAMHSA selection by Jan. 2017 Eight states, as of now July 2017 Texas start date Possibility of modified Texas pilot if State not selected Texas Council will hold webinars to provide information to Centers as details are finalized.

1115 Waiver DSRIP Ongoing negotiations between HHSC and CMS
Direct conversations with HHSC DY6 recoupment risk HHSC states that Texas Council has advised them of the problem both verbally and in formal written comments and testimony – and they understand and are working on a solution 15-Month Extension (DY6 transition period) Intended to provide time to negotiate additional years of the 1115 Waiver. Does not mean the Waiver is extended for 15 months and won’t be extended any longer Many questions remain Sustainability still the main story Statewide initiatives DY6 comments Technical assistance available

Panel discussion/ presentation at TX Council Annual Conference Provide technical assistance to Centers at all stages of the process – from data collection to outcome interpretation Identify data elements to be collected by the Centers and specify data field formats Identify data sources; share successful strategies Share successful strategies for collecting lab and prescription data Provide processes for Centers to incorporate data collection into current work flow Quick Guides for the Criminal Justice specifying data sources and step by step instructions due to specification differences from current DSHS measures Continue working to identify promising practices related to reporting outcomes Identify and disseminate improvement strategies Disseminate information through presentations and webinars to the ED, BH and QM Consortia
