Application 1
Distribute Handout 6.2.
Have participants work in pairs. Ask participants to brainstorm responses to the prompt using the Our World example on Handout 6.2.
Possible answers:
Before: tell students what materials to bring; ask them to research caves; provide alternative resources for students who can’t bring something from home or who don’t have internet access.
In action: monitor for students who don’t have materials or don’t know where to start; monitor for situations that may cause a mess; etc.
