2. What is Career and Technical Education?
Today’s student needs to be career and college ready for high demand, high wage careers.
Students need to be able to integrate and apply 21st century skills, technical knowledge and skills, and core academic knowledge.
With an emphasis on real world, real life skills, Career and Technical Education connects to academics and training that will help every student be successful in his or her future in a global economy.

3. Planning for the Future: What is an Advisory Board?
It is a committee whose members represent business and industry, special populations, community, government, students, parents and teachers.

The committee provides advice in the design, development, delivery, evaluation and continuous improvement of Career and Technical Education programs in the district.
The Advisory Board meets regularly and minutes are on file at the district office.
