We now have the opportunity to go forward with the proposed Bond and PI Levies for a joined Middle and High School The State of Ohio will contribute $6,238, to our project Local Share and Locally Funded Initiatives require 5.2 mills plus 0.5 mill PI for maintenance. Total of 5.7 mills. What does that mean? Daily Cost per $100,000 home value (as defined by the county auditor valuation) is 55 cents. Monthly Cost per $100,000 home value (as defined by the county auditor valuation) is $17. Annual Cost per $100,000 home value (as defined by the county auditor valuation) is $200.

A new 6-12 building provides our kids with the environment they need to be more competitive and successful 81% of Firelands High School graduate went to college, trade school, or the military. We must continue this record of excellence Our community will have the opportunity to be involved in the layout and design of the new building, including how we will pay tribute to our former buildings.
