**SPELLING TESTS ON FRIDAYS!
Reading: We will be working on finding the main idea and details as we read.
Writing: We are learning how to write comparing and contrasting paragraphs including a topic sentence, 3 details, and a concluding sentence. .
Math: We will be learning about double-digit subtraction with regrouping.
Science: We will be learning about erosion.

**The special author coming on Feb 22 happens to be my sister-in-law! I am so incredibly excited for her as this is her first published story. She is a talented writer (former Red Oak teacher) and I can’t wait for the kids to hear her story. It has an amazing message about friendship.
