Reading Rotation Read Trip to the ER and discuss Mini lesson: Text Structure-nonfiction Read Officer Trip the the ER and discuss Mini Lesson: Sequence of Events Practice vocabulary. Read the story p. 86 Use context clues to understand. Practice identifying sequencing a story Comprehension assessment on the story. Skill check on Text Structure and Sequencing. Vocabulary Serious Personal Informs Heal Aid Hospital Emergency Higher order questions How do our vocabulary words relate to the text? What is the function of the different text features in the article? Describe how sequencing non fiction is different then fiction stories How are emergency workers and dentists alike or different?
