3. Housekeeping at the Liverpool ACC and Jury’s Inn
Smoking, is not allowed inside either of the conference venues (Liverpool ACC and Jurys Inn)
Keep your belongings with you at all times and do not leave any items unattended. Any suspicious packages should be reported immediately to a member of staff.
In the event that the building needs to be evacuated the following announcement is broadcast over the Public Address System: “Attention please – Attention please! We have an emergency within the building. Please leave by the nearest available exit! Do not use the lifts!” Follow instructions from members of staff and do not stop to collect personal belongings. Tell a member of staff if you think a colleague may be missing and do not re-enter the building until told by a member of staff or Fire officer that it is safe to do so.
If you or a colleague need medical attention during the conference, please speak immediately to a member of staff before it becomes an emergency. Any accidents must also be reported immediately.
