6 Data Definitions NTD Annual Vehicle Miles are the total amount of miles for the reporting period that all vehicles travel from the time they pull out to go into revenue service to the time they pull in from revenue service. Includes personal vehicle miles used in service Deadhead miles are included

7 Data Definitions ODOT Total Miles of Service (TMS) - the total miles a vehicle travels from when the vehicle leaves the transit facility (or dispatch point) until the vehicle returns to the transit facility (or dispatch point). Excludes: Operator training Maintenance testing School bus service Charter services

8 Data Definitions NTD Annual Vehicle Hours are not reported by mode. The total amount of hours for the reporting period that all vehicles travel from the time they pull out to go into revenue service to the time they pull in from revenue service. Passengers who board public transit vehicles Counted each time No matter how many vehicles they use to travel from their origin to their destination. Includes Personal Care Attendants (PCA), transfers and non-paying passengers. Excludes service animals, meal and packages.

16 Data Definitions Safety Information
Fatalities The total number of transit caused deaths confirmed within 30 days of a transit accident/incident, which occurs under the collision, derailment, fire, evacuation, security incident, vehicle leaving the roadway, or otherwise classified categories. Report by Mode

17 Data Definitions Safety Information
Major Incidents Any event involving the operation of a transit system, if as a result, an individual dies either at the time of the event or within 30 days of the event: Two (previously 3) or more individuals suffer bodily damage as a result of the event requiring immediate medical attention away from the scene; A collision, personal casualty, or fire causes property damage in excess of $25,000; or A transit vehicle moving passengers in service is evacuated due to a serious life safety hazard that constitutes an imminent threat.
