2 LEARNING OBJECTIVE Students will learn about the Data Cycle and understand what a statistical question is by creating statistical questions based off of data visualizations and represent this using a Data Cycle Graphic.

5 INVESTIGATE STATISTICAL QUESTIONS
How old are you? VERSUS How old are the students in our class? Are either or both a Statistical Question?

Check to see if your question can make it all the way through the Data Cycle Explain whether each component can be completed and why

8 DATA CYCLE CONCLUSION GRAPHIC
Each team will choose ONE statistical question and create a graphic using the data cycle (8.5” x 11”). Materials Manager - get a blank sheet of paper and a set of markers for your team. The cycle should be clearly labeled with all 4 components AND explanations for each one You must make a conclusion about why your question was a statistical question.
