Digital Recording Systems Approximately 4 years ago we researched the digital recording systems for Courts & selected CourtFLOW as our recording software. Selection was based upon: Software architecture Flexibility & Scalability to be customize for specific Courtrooms Ability to integrate into Audio / Video Solutions Companies R&D capabilities to advance product CourtFLOW is a family of software products developed by Voice IQ Inc (previously BCB Voice Systems) from Markham, Ontario, Canada

AVI - VIQ Over the past 4 years, we have developed a strategic partnership with VIQ – Designing & Installing Solutions utilizing VIQ CourtFLOW recording software. We have designed & installed systems across North America from the Rhode Island to California. We have been awarded a contract to provide 450 audio / recording interface systems for the Integrated Justice Project for Ontario Canada. We have contracts pending on a 117 courtroom project for San Diego County Superior Courts and a 17 courtroom project for Kern County Superior Courts.

CourtFLOW Family of Software Products CourtFLOW – enterprise – Client / Server software – provides for central storage of court proceedings over LAN. CourtABLE – stand alone or portable version of CourtFLOW – stores court proceedings on local hard drive – can be exported into CourtFLOW server. CourtABLE Lite – stand alone or portable version of CourtFLOW – customized to support Meeting facilities such as Board of Supervisors, Mayor & City Council, & Boardroom Meeting. Also used for Depositions.

CourtFLOW Applications The CourtFLOW applications are a set of TOOLS that we customize / configure to the work flow processes of the court & specific courtroom. Unlike other recording software applications – with CourtFLOW you can have it your way. Session Manager – in court application for multi-media recording, monitoring, playback, and annotating proceedings with speakers, events, and notes. CFPlayer – a utility application for search & playback during court proceeding as well as for post annotation, copying excerpts from recording, and transcription. Archive Manager – utility for searching, archiving, exporting, and importing recorded sessions & cases. Export capabilities to open standard wave files or Internet streaming formats.

CourtFLOW Features All applications are password protected – up to 4 levels Record from 2 – 8 channels of recording with simultaneous playback while recording. Very simple user interface for basic recording functions. Supports both keyboard & mouse centric ops. Recording is tamper proof & resides within a proprietary scheme until exported. Comprehensive management system – hooks to import – export data to Case Management & after care programs.

Tagging & Annotation – speakers, events, and notes are linked to recorded audio by precise time. Provides for instant retrieval & playback. (Public Annotations) CourtFLOW Features Annotations can be edited when time permits. Printed out as minutes Short Cuts / Phrase Lists can be built for common entries. Judge / Lawyers can be tied into system and create Private Annotations, which are linked to recorded proceedings.
