4 Simplest Form You simplify an expression by using Distributive Property to combine like terms. If an expression has no like terms and no parenthesis, then it is considered written in simplest form. Simplify each expression 2X + 6X =8X (since 2X and 6X are like terms, then add) B) 6N N = 6N + 3N + 4 (Combine 6N and 3N since they are like terms) = 9N +4
