4. THE GOD OF MORTALITY
Iapetus "the piercer" was also known as the Titan god symbolizing mortality and the mortal life-span as his sons Prometheus and Epimetheus were the creators of mankind and all other mortal creatures.
His sons allowed it so people that live on earth will not have an
Everlasting life and will one day die!

5. Iapetus and his brother Cronus ruled the world during the Golden Ages
After dethroning his father, Cronus and Iapetus took over the reign of the universe. The age during which Cronus and Iapetus reigned over the cosmos is called the Golden Age. In mythology since it was an age of order and prosperity and there was actually no need for any rules and laws to prevent people from behaving immoral.
