Breaking: When students reach the number and type of SOL’s they need to graduate, they will not have to take any more, even if they are enrolled in an SOL class.

All students must take Economics & Personal Finance or AP Economics
All students meet their online course requirement through Personal Finance or AP Economics
All students receiving a standard diploma must earn a “certification.” This is part of the Personal Finance class, where students will take the W!SE test

17. Virtual Loudoun (VL) classes
Online classes provided by Loudoun County Public Schools.
Virtual Loudoun is not an online school
Virtual Loudoun is an online program that may supplement the traditional schedule
Students may take one VL class per school year, and a total of two summer VL classes = for a maximum of 6 VL classes while in high school

18. Virtual Loudoun (VL) classes
Offered three times/year: Summer, Fall, Spring
Students take VL for a variety of reasons:
To “catch-up” or “get ahead”
To take less classes during the school day
To make room for another class
Direct questions to the Virtual Loudoun table in the cafeteria!
