In 2018, the Chisholm Skills and Job Centre (CSJC) focus was to promote the brand and increase the reach of the centre across local community and industry, which led to a 60% increase in the number of people accessing our services.

6. Youth Statistics Aged 18 – 24 Years
603 young people aged under 25 accessed the services of the Chisholm SJC in the youth cohort formed 11.1% of our total attendance
84 of these youths were Chisholm students, and we were able to broker employment opportunities for 63%
National youth unemployment rate – 12.2%

Client DNA statistics are self reported and thereby many job seekers do not disclose their unique profile, including their age bracket.

7. What are the challenges faced when engaging with young people and how can we overcome them?
