Aimed at pharmacists who are new to the PGD process and will be involved in the development and/or implementation of PGDs for NHS services. Delivered by Pharmacists who are members of the National PGD Service Advisory Board. Designed to give you the opportunity to solve your local issues 10 specialist pharmacist staff – all part time, mostly also working in acute trusts or primary care, so we understand current ‘real’ world issues. BUT only 3.6WTE staff for all England service => Thus collaboration and ‘do once and share’ are where we are at. Co-ordinate best practice pharmacy networks Develop resources and toolkits on current medicines issues Lead collaborative multi-organisation audits and service evaluations to identify unwarranted variation Present at conferences, publish in journals Respond to national consultations on medicines. 10 specialist pharmacist staff – all part time, mostly also working in acute trusts or primary care, so we understand current ‘real’ world issues.
