1 The Amazement of a Tarantula

2 What is a Tarantula A tarantula is in the theraphosidae family of spiders. over 900 species have been identified in the theraphosidae family.

3 How and What they Eat? Sometimes they eat other spiders.
The biggest tarantulas eat lizards, mice, bats, birds and small snakes. Their mouths are short and thin like a straw and they can only suck up food.

4 What do they Look Like? Tarantulas legs can have a span of 5 inches.
They also have needle like fangs but rarely bite humans unless they have to defend them selves, but when they do it is not poisons but it hurts.

5 Continuing what they look like
Tarantulas have interesting colors such as blue, yellow and green. Tarantulas can be measured up to 3 oz. to 6 oz.

6 Tarantulas Habits Tarantulas shed their exoskeletons in order to grow.
They normally hunt in trees.

7 How Baby Tarantulas are born
Females can deposit 50 to 2000 eggs in 1sack. The young spiderlings stay in the nest for quit some time.
