13. Mokrice Castle The mediaeval Castle
The castle legends and stories speak of turbulent historical events and important routes crossing this area from West towards East already in Roman times.
In peaceful times the castle was known for luxurious lifestyle of the nobility that occupied it. 
Today the castle hosts a high-class hotel with excellent 18-hole golf course.

The park of the Mokrice Castle including the 200 year old English park and the 18-hole golf course spread over 47 ha offer many possibilities for different field courses.
