Approximately 2 m diameter shaft exposed at the site of the Nottingham Business Park near Strelley. The shaft is lined with dry-stacked red bricks and its collar is within 1.5 m of the ground surface. Infill material appeared to consist of soil, wooden logs and metal objects (photograph BGS © NERC).
