Comparison of women carrying a male fetus and those carrying a female fetus, with respect to mean adjusted blood glucose levels during the OGTT (A), mean adjusted insulin sensitivity (B), and mean adjusted β-cell function (C). Each measure is adjusted for weeks' gestation at OGTT, maternal age, ethnicity, family history of type 2 diabetes, prepregnancy BMI, weight gain in pregnancy up to the OGTT, and infant birth weight. Data are presented as adjusted mean with SE.
