Senior English 2/16/16 In Chapter 21, Victor is accused of murder. Why do they think Victor did it and who was killed? Why can’t the bank keep a secret? Gardyloo – Archaic warning cry made when waste water was tossed out the window. Goals – Discuss Chapter 20 and 21 questions about the text and find evidence form the text to defend your opinions. Homework – In Chapter 22, Victor says, “A thousand times would I have shed my blood, drop by drop, to have saved their lives: but I could not, my father, indeed I could not sacrifice the whole human race.” Don’t forget to study for vocab. 18 on Friday. Because there are too many tellers.

Senior English 2/19/16 Five minutes to prepare for vocab. #18.
What do you get when you cross a dyslexic agnostic with an insomniac? Lewdster – a lecher, one given to illegal pleasures. Goals – Complete vocabulary #18. Introduce vocabulary 19. Homework – None. Be prepared to learn about critical lenses and how the apply to our reading on Monday. Someone who lies wake at night wondering whether there is a dog.
