The University has selected a number of Schools to be involved in a card reader pilot for monitoring attendance; we are not going to be involved
The pilot is running for the Autumn semester, after which point feedback will be recorded and compared to experiences using paper-based systems

3. Card Reader Project pilot
Attendance is monitored for course requirements, health and safety, and visa regulations for international students
This project is not about increasing attendance monitoring – it’s about finding a more efficient way to collect the data that we’ve always collected
