2 The Cobra’s Tongue Snakes like cobras hunt at dawn and dusk. Cobras adapt to reply on cobra rely on their sense of smell. A cobra flicks his tongue helping him smell his prey.

3 Deadly Venom The cobra’s venom is deadly enough to bring down an elephant. Some cobras can spit their venom from eight feet away blinding their prey.

4 Scaring the Prey Cobras can stand upright when threatened, as well as making their heads into a hood to send their prey a message. Run away!

5 The Cobra’s Jaw The cobra's jaw can be important, allowing it to swallow its meal whole.
