2 Fig 1 Flow diagram of the study. The experiment was conducted 2 days after subjects were familiarized with the cycling system. Intervention randomization was done on the first experiment day. Each intervention started with a recording of pretest muscle tone measurement, including the modified Ashworth scale and pendulum test. After that, subjects did an assisted cycling or nonassisted cycling session, and then posttest muscle tone measurement was recorded. After at least 1 day of rest, subjects did the other (assisted cycling or nonassisted) session.
