Aim: to provide employment training to young people in transition from residential care Vehicle: Cluster of small social enterprises Approach: Get the “job ready” / “work ready” Output: Over 400 young people have received employment training with 63% leaving to positive destinations The Kibble Experience 28/07/2019

6 KibblePlus Established in 2010
Aim: to provide employment training to 18 to 24 yr olds Vehicle: Four larger social enterprises and associated support services Approach: Get the “job ready” / “work ready” Output: 93 young people have received employment training with 43% of first cohort moving into employment The Kibble Experience 28/07/2019

7 What have we learned? The work has to be real
This approach is expensive, but not as expensive as not doing it The Kibble Experience 28/07/2019

8 What would we like to see?
The a broader uptake in the creation of client reflective workforces More organisations focussing on the “job at hand” The Kibble Experience 28/07/2019
