5. Contentment helps to quench temptations.
Soldiers were told to be content with wages (Luke 3:8, 14).
True contentment allows godliness to do effectively its unhindered transformation in us (1 Timothy 6:6-10).
Christians who fall prey to discontentment suffer its repercussions.

6. Being content helps us handle life’s situations.
Enables one to accept one’s station in life
(1 Corinthians 7:17-24)
We keep on obeying God not what happens.
Enables one to handle bad times which come his way (Philippians 4:11-13)
Success by learning to be content in whatever circumstance
